In 2023, Berg custom-designed and supplied two central chillers for Kinectrics Inc., a leader in the machinery industry. These chillers were specifically engineered to provide precise cooling for the test equipment within their facility.
The central chiller skids, charged with R513 refrigerant, offer a compressor cooling capacity of 20TR. Each system is equipped with a remote dual circuit air-cooled condenser and two individual refrigeration circuits, featuring:
These components are seamlessly integrated with an insulated, oversized stainless steel reservoir, two stainless steel bag filters, chiller circulation pumps, and process pumps—all crafted from high-quality stainless steel. Additionally, the system includes a valved header assembly and a Centralized PLC System, ensuring streamlined control and operation.
The entire setup is factory-mounted, piped, wired, and painted on a robust structural steel frame. Berg also managed the mechanical installation, startup, and provided comprehensive training to the end-user’s operational staff, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal system performance.
