Berg service conducted evaporative condenser replacements for two municipal ice rinks in the City of Oakville. Replacement at Maple Grove Arena was done during facility shutdown. The replacement at Joshua’s Creek Arena was a same-day swap and startup to avoid ice melting and the service was done while the facility was still open. Scope of service included supply and installation of new ammonia evaporative condensers, pump-out and recovery of ammonia, piping modifications as required, testing, start-up and operator training.
