In 2022, Berg made a pivotal contribution to Lucid Corporation's new extrusion rolling facility by engineering and delivering a high-capacity Stainless Steel Tower Tank System, with an impressive 8000-gallon capacity.

This system features three tower pumps and three process pumps, each set with a backup unit, ensuring uninterrupted water circulation from the reservoir to the tower cells and through the process equipment. The system's design guarantees stable flow rates and pressure, essential for the facility's efficiency, safety, and operational stability. Its adaptable flow rate capability ensures flexibility without impacting the chiller’s efficiency.

A key aspect of the system is the automatic switchover mechanism for both tower and process pumps, designed to enhance the system's durability and reliability. This feature ensures consistent operation and reduces wear and tear by preventing prolonged idleness of any pump.

Each component of the system is securely mounted on a robust structural steel tube frame. The pump connections to the reservoir are equipped with a suite of valves and gauges for precise control and monitoring. These include suction shut-off valves, discharge flow and shut-off valves, discharge check valves, and discharge pressure gauges. This comprehensive setup underscores our commitment to delivering durable, high-quality, and efficient thermal management solutions.
