Custom Ammonia Ice Rink Compressor Package

As experts in the ice rink refrigeration market for more than 45 years, Berg consistently provides excellent quality ice rink cooling systems for natural and synthetic refrigerants in the recreational ice industry. With a focus on close collaboration and partnership with our clients, our synthetic and ammonia refrigeration service is available 24/7, all year round for our customers who need help with their synthetic or ammonia refrigeration systems.

In 2019, Berg provided three compressor packages charged with ammonia as a replacement to outdated compressors at an Etobicoke ice rink facility. In addition to three ice rink compressors, Berg also provided an oil cooling Glycol loop with new pump and an expansion tank. Berg also performed various ammonia services such as start-up and commissioning of the compressors as well as piping modifications.
